“Over the past three years I’ve been through so many highs (Qualifying for the World Championships x2, competing at and winning international competitions, and having my body perform workouts and lifts that I never imagined doing before), and many lows (receiving my first concussion, tearing my labrum in my shoulder, and balancing family medical crisis with training and work). With Rob’s wealth of knowledge, experience, kindness, patience and trustworthiness I have been able to work through and over come these obstacles. He has also helped find solutions when he knew there might be a better solution to a problem; from working with his wife Samantha Arsenault-Livingstone for high performance training to hone my mental and emotional agility, to other allied health professionals for help with recovery and pain management… I am forever grateful and thankful that I have been able to have this experience, travel the world, grow as a person on the inside and out, as well as make connections and develop resources. I look forward to my transition out of athletics and back into higher education and knowing that Rob will be there supporting me no matter what I am doing and that he will continuously be a resource and mentor that I can reach out to.”
